Cllr James Slater

James has lived in Camden since moving for university in 2016 and now lives in the heart of Kentish Town North. He works as a parliamentary researcher and is a part-time student at UCL. He is a school governor representing Camden Council, and has been a university governor, charity trustee and involved in many local organisations. He is passionate about education, ensuring every child has the best possible start in life, and is a strong advocate for improving social mobility. Since moving to Camden, James has lived in Bloomsbury, West Hampstead, Highgate and Kentish Town.
